our Vision

Real Food Life has the vision to inspire healthier communities by connecting people to Real Food.


Our Story

Based on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, Real Food Life was founded by Sarah Mitford-Burgess in 2014. Sarah has worked extensively within the health and hospitality industry up and down the east coast of Australia and after moving to the Fleurieu 5 years ago, saw an opportunity to provide the locals and visitors of the region with real, wholesome and nourishing food that is convenient and a healthy alternative to takeaways. Real Food Life provides a variety of food that can cater for a broad range of dietary needs such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian and paleo. Since opening, the business has sprouted organically over the years as demand for healthy, local food options is becoming more of a priority for many in the community.

What comes out of our kitchen is created with the vision of getting colourful, healthy and nourishing food to the community, with the hope to inspire people to take charge of their health by choosing nourishing food as fuel. Healthy food tastes so good, we want to share that with everyone.

real food life has a focus on using local and organic produce where possible. when we eat with the seasons and with what is available locally our bodies remain in tune with the RHYTHMS of nature.

Catering

grazing tables or individual grazing boxes priced per head. using local seasonal produce, choose your inclusions from cheeses (vegan and dairy) housemade dips, olives, cured meats, housemade frittata, housemade quinoa veg slice, slow cooked meats,vegan veg patties, hearty seasonal salads, condiments, crackers, corn chips, almonds, trail mix, sourdough (gf available), olive oil, dukkah, fresh vegetables and fruits, raw deserts, bliss balls, chocolate and more.

priced per head, overnight cooked meats, vegetarian and meat curries, hearty seasonal salads, vegan veggie burgers, real beef burgers, roast veg frittata, and more! all meals come with accompanying condiments and set up as a shared table experience to help yourselves.

real food meals for individuals

we love creating custom meals for people, our nourish bowls are a combination or raw and roasted veg, protein, grain, plant based dressings, gut loving krauts, nuts and seeds. if you have goals in mind for kick starting your health we create packages based on your goals (ie: detox, cutting gluten, gut health, plant based, low carb, fitness goals and more)

raw desserts

priced per cake/tart/cupcake. we create a range of raw cakes and tarts which are all gluten/grain free, refined sugar free and vegan. flavours follow the seasons and we are guided by our own creativity and our clients taste buds, so let us know your favourites and we will see what we can do.

cakes range from 20-25 cm diameter cut into 12-15 pieces. tarts are 25cm diameter cut into 12 pieces. cupcakes are standard cupcake servings.
